Course Overview

The course focuses on widening student’s reading and developing their analytical skills.

Paper 1: Shakespeare and Post-1914 literature looks at a Shakespeare Play and a British play or novel.

Paper 2: 19th Century novel and poetry since 1789 looks at how language, form and context of texts can create meanings and effects.
