Stitch a tree

Over the past 3 weeks Jackson Graham, Amy Atkinson, Harry Watson and Isabelle Holloway have worked hard during their lunch time to ‘stitch a tree’ which will form part of a large scale installation by textile artist Alice Kettle. This will be on display at Wordsworth Art Gallery, Manchester in September. The piece itself is in support of refugees and displaced people around the world. The thread is to examine the interconnected social world we live in.

I am very proud  of the hard work, commitment and above all the fantastic trees they have each produced. This is such an achievement for these Year 7 students.
