Tri Golf Competition

The Copeland Tri Golf Festival was held at The Whitehaven Academy Friday 20th May and saw 170 pupils take part. The children were from years 3, 4, 5 & 6 who competed together to try and achieve the highest score possible from the 8 Tri Golf Courses that were set out. The courses are designed to get the children working together whilst utilising lots of different skills.

Leaders from The Whitehaven Academy spent the day assisting with the event, from setting up the courses, to coaching the children and officiating the competition. It was a super event that all the schools enjoyed, praise was given from the Primary School teachers to the Sports Leaders from The Whitehaven Academy for being fantastic with the children and beingĀ super role models.
