Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The cast all clearly enjoyed themselves and grew in confidence and competence during the week. It was fantastic to see the Yr 6 students from Monkwray and Valley primary schools being so involved. The feedback from the community has been fantastic, ‘this is clearly the best school show at Whitehaven ever,’ ‘ I am so pleased to see the return of the school show after so many years.’

A huge thank you goes to the staff involved, Mr Gilson, Mr Jones, the musical brilliance of Miss Pearson and Mr Hudson, the two door keepers Mr Percival and Miss Lowry, make-up and costumes Mrs Campbell, Mrs Ryden and Mrs Bew, set design and set up Mrs McGhee, Mrs Miller, Mrs Steele, Mrs Amor, Miss Burrough, Mr Flinn, Miss Heatherington and the BSSL team and all the other staff and students who have been involved over the last few weeks and days.

But of course none of this would have been possible without the clear and talented leadership of Miss Murray, Miss Pearson and Mr Bradbury. I am sure you will all join me in congratulating them all for their support and for going above and beyond for the school. Thank you and well done to all.

‘We all dream a lot. Some are lucky, some are not. But if you think it, want it, dream it, then it’s real. You are what you feel. But all that I say can be told another way, in the story of a boy whose dream came true. And it could be you.’
