The school choir have been around the area singing for the local community. Mrs Murray said ‘The girls did a fantastic job carol singing all morning’. The staff at the day centre said ‘It was wonderful and the residents really seemed to enjoy it’. The hospital gave the choir two boxes of chocolates and the matron made sure she had lots of photographs of the choir with the patients to put in their hospital newsletter.
The hospital chaplain (Rev. Simon Cake) said ‘I would like the choir to visit again, even with musical instruments as it can be really therapeutic for patients especially for those with dementia’. The choir hope to visit again very soon.
